Town Councils have a crucial part to play in the fight against the climate emergency. Their closer relationship to residents and the fact that they often own and manage key pieces of green infrastructure, high profile local buildings and transport facilities means they are ideally placed to drive forward local action.
In most respects, here at ClimateGuide we view Town Councils as analagous to smaller district councils - with a Chief Executive Officer and a number of other paid staff, sometimes even including a sustainability lead, there are similar levers of influence available to them as the next tier of government.
We offer the same services to Town Councils as to local authorities, and are happy to discuss how these can be tailored to your circumstances, or how we can support groups of neighbouring town and parish councils to work together to achieve economies of scale and share costs.
Check out our local authorities page to understand the range of support on offer, and get in touch!
